The Georgia Department of Economic Development’s International Trade Team manages the state’s international offices and offers export services programs, including Global Insight and Global Connections, providing how-to’s of exporting and industry-specific and country specific data and matching Georgia suppliers with international buyers/representatives.
Sister City Partnerships
The City of Marietta and Cobb County have established three Sister City relationships. Sister City partnerships are officially recognized through signed agreements by the respective mayor of each city and ratified by the city councils. These relationships build economic ties, help generate tourism, and promote global cooperation and further cultural understanding. Cobb County’s sister city is Seongdong Gu, Seoul, South Korea, and The City of Marietta enjoys two Sister City relationships with Heredia, Costa Rica and Linz, Germany.
