Gas South, a leading natural gas provider, has relocated its Atlanta office to The Battery Atlanta to provide employees with a modern workspace customized for hybrid work and collaboration. Gas South’s new space allows easy access to their partner, the Atlanta Braves, plus restaurants, shops and amenities at The Battery Atlanta. Design choices also pay homage to Gas South’s nearly two-decade partnership with the Braves.
“For Gas South to be a leader in today’s workplace environment, we must adapt our offices to the new way of working with spaces that are functional and collaborative,” said Kevin Greiner, President and CEO. “Our new headquarters will be a key asset in helping us recruit and retain top talent who are looking for a working environment that is modern, innovative and rich in
amenities.”
Noteworthy features of the new office include an innovative content studio, video-enabled conference rooms, gaming lounges, wellness rooms and sound masking throughout the 31,000-square-foot space.
Gensler, a global architecture and design firm, created Gas South’s office blending innovation and functionality in a unique fashion. Variety and flexibility were central to the design. The floor is divided into distinct neighborhoods that cater to diverse workstyles; different space types promote concentrated quiet work or collaborative tasking.
“The new headquarters at 3 Ballpark is a celebration of the Gas South brand and their unique culture,” said Meg Fogel, interior designer and senior associate at Gensler Atlanta. “The space is multifunctional and immersive, offering variety and flexibility to cater to various workstyles and gatherings. The space reflects their iconic brand: it champions innovation, fosters connection,
and emphasizes belonging for every team member so they can best serve their clients and community.”
“It’s very impressive to see the tribute to the Braves and The Battery Atlanta throughout the new Gas South office space,” said Mike Plant, President & CEO of the Braves Development Company. “The design reflects Gas South’s strong values, culture and continued support of our organization. A relationship that began in 2008 will continue to flourish for years to come.”
Beyond technological and design enhancements inspired by the Atlanta Braves, the new office celebrates Gas South’s sponsorship of Gas South District, the entertainment hub in the heart of
Gwinnett County and venue space for concerts, sports, theater performances and conventions.
Special guests Atlanta Braves’ Mike Plant, Cobb Chamber’s Sharon Mason and Cobb County Chairwoman Lisa Cupid joined in the celebration at the community grand opening.
