Small Business Programming

SelectCobb’s Small Business Series strives to provide a blend of meaningful programming that will encourage a thriving business environment for minority entrepreneurs and business owners in Cobb.

The Small Business Series developed out of the of the DE&I Entrepreneurship Committee’s desire to engage with entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses of all backgrounds and industries in Cobb County and connect them to meaningful education, networking, and mentorship opportunities.

Educational Programming

The educational programming is structured to provide attendees with advice and best practices on a variety of topics important to small businesses. 

Networking Receptions

Scheduled networking receptions allow entrepreneurs and small businesses to connect with other local companies while hearing from relevant keynote speakers.

HR Roundtable

This event series designed for HR professionals from various industries across Cobb County. The group meets quarterly in-person or virtually for an educational lunch and learn to discuss an array of HR-related topics such as recruitment, retention, leadership development, labor law and regulation, and more.

Site Visits

These company visits help identify issues and potential challenges for companies around Cobb, and allows our team to address and retain existing business.
